ONCE UPON A TIME...

Chaos, the tortured and sad designer of the universe, began their endless walk searching for purpose. They roamed among the blankness of nothingness, forever longing to find meaning.

But the reason for their existence was not what they found.

As if Chaos felt the energies brewing behind them, they looked back, and what they saw, they did not like. They did not know they were bleeding, and their blood was creating rocks and stars. Soon, the rocks and stars made objects of their own.

Three worlds were created by their blood: a realm of light, a realm of dark, and a realm of shadow. Then, the gods came. The gods of these realms, birthed by the sufferings of Chaos, were constructed to maintain balance. However, their egos caused the realms to become unstable, and the universe became a battleground. The pantheons of light and dark gods feared each other’s energy, worried they were not the most powerful. All the while, the lone god of the shadows watched the light and dark fight a senseless war, which created rips in the three barriers.

The mesh of all the energies that drifted through the cracks of the realms caused Chaos to flee—a dire consequence of their endless walk.

Frightened by their creations, Chaos continued their path far away from their children… I do not blame them.
